Let’s chew the fat together (or anything
else we determine might be edible), and together we’ll ruminate on the beauties of the human-
animal bond.

I’m a rescue dog so I appreciate life, a therapy dog so I am attuned to toils and troubles, and a typical
dog so don’t leave your bagel unattended.

My mom, Dr. Karen Wheeler, is a veterinarian and may join us on the couch from time to time. But no
worries – we’ll kick her off if she gets too crazy. Or tries to look in our ears.

Now grab a coffee, cozy up, and feel free to use the reclining seats. But try to stay within ear-rubbing
distance. We’re about to unleash a whole new way to look at life here on Sophie’s Couch.
